Alternates to eBay?

I've been on eBay for a little under a year now and dislike all the scams there. People post bootleg electronics and there are very few reliable sellers. I've read some people mention they go elsewhere now to sell and buy online, like Amazon. But I'm curious if there are another other legitimate, safe sites like eBay that are significantly better, maybe cheaper?
