Would you still go to school or work, if you are already 1 hour late?

Hello Xannebull, I think I have experience before for being late to school for more than 1 hour. It was so embarrassed that all the other students looked at me carrying bag walking in to the school compound while others were in the canteen having the recess break. If for me to choose, I would rather skip the class if I was late again for 1 hour. For working, I had never late for 1 hour. The most was only 10 to 15 minutes. It is no good to go to work too late as my boss will deduct the salary if you happen to be late for too many times, LOL. Lucky I still manage to go to work on time for most of the time. !

i would! yeah, better late than never. if i won't attend work, i would be the one to suffer later because my work will pile up and it would still be me to do it. i seldom report late for work but there are really times where urgent things crop up and it delays u coming to work. i will refrain from doing it the next time.

I will go to school or work no matter how late I am.. but before I am late to work, I usually call the office and let others know about it.. as for school, if I am late, I won't walk in to the class immediately, but will wait for the necessary lecture / period over before walking in again. most is I just miss that particular subject but not the full day..

hi xanne, "IT'S BETTER TO BE LATE THAN NEVER", I always think of this phrase whenever i think that i am late on my office.. well, we can't stop it.. we can't blame the traffic also because if you will just wake up very early of course you can't catch the traffic on your way.. so if you don't want to be late, better wake up very early.. janebeth.

I will have to agree that it is better to be late than not show up at all. When it comes to school you can always catch on a few minutes but you may trouble catching up on the whole day or class. As far as work goes by means go in late. If you decide not to show up at all then look at the money you have lost. Better than the money look at what position you may put your company in by not being there at all. Great discussion and have a nice day..Oh yeah don't be late...LOL

Of course I would. I would rather miss an hour class than the whole day when I can learn a lot of things. When I was still in school, I rarely was absent for a class. But I admit I had a lot of instances that I was late for class. I always had the thinking that it is better to be late than absent the whole class. Education is not free so I value time in school.

During last year it was like 'whole or nothing' to me i.e. I wouldn't go at all if I missed one lecture. But now it has proved to be wrong, so I wait for next lecture and then go by :)

why not?it happened to me sometimes.but whenever how late it is,i still go.you are right,it is better late than never.i hate to be late.if i have an appointment with others i usually get there earlier.

If I were 5, 10, or 15 minutes late,I would probably go on. If I were going to be an hour late, I would be too embarassed to walk in that late. In that case, I just wouldn't go. I would just wait until the next day. If I were an hour late to work, I would just have to call in and explain why I couldn't make it. Kathy.

Of course I will. If I'll be late then I'll call in and tell them I'll be late. A day skip without a reason can cause my salary being cut. As for school, just go even if you're late. I often caught my students arrived late and yet I still let them come into the classroom. Plus, they got guts to come into the class even though they're late and they know I may punish them for that. For me they still make an effort to come and that's really a big deal.

I wouldn't mind going to work even if I'm late already, better late than never as they say.

I remember way back my second year college and accounting was our first subject back then. and since i always had trouble arriving at the terminal wait falling in-line passengers, that's the time that i just started going for the jeep and the bus. of course, i don't need to attend the class if am not that late

at first i think that i will not be late for my laziness or something else which have no excuse for which i have to be late for 1 hour....because its too late...i think in school you can not be entered after being late fir 1 hour...so if i would be in school then i will never attempt to try to enter to school unless i had an exam on that day...at work i think i'll not again go to office after 1 hour if that day will not be very much important to go to office because me its better to be absent than to be abused...lol

I will still go even i'm late! LOL. I don't mind to go to work if I came late as long as I have valid reason and it is seldom to happen. :) Thats okay I think. We can always redeem ourselves the next day and be early. Happy myLotting!
