Where do you find your lost keys?

Where do you find your keys when they are lost? I missed work today because I could not find my keys. I searched through the clothes hamper, searched outside and in the car. I searched in the trash, emptying the contents twice. I finally found them on top of the refrigerator inside some paper plates. I thought I had checked there. Where do you find your keys when lost?

the best thing to do is to try and retrace your steps from the time you got out of your car. most of the time, you'll find them in the most obvious place

For me they are always in the last place I look although thats probably because I stop looking once I find them lol. My oldest daughter always steals my keys and hides them but she is only 14 months so I cant tell her off for it. They normally turn up under her cot!
