Are you the kind of person that prepares for the future? saves money in the bank and die, work like a dog for what? or party every day like theres no tomorrow? what are your thoughts on this discussion. Have you thought about it? Isn"t it time you and all of us did!

I live each days as if it were the first day of the rest of my life....and have been doing so for over 50 years. It's been great.....haven't been to a doctor in over 22 years. I remember always that yesterday, today was tomorrow and tomorrow, today will be yesterday and that tomorrow never comes...because it is today.

My husband and I both work hard and we do prepare for our future. He will retire next year with a nice pension and I have a Roth IRA set up for myself. These will nicely supplement our Social Security checks. There's no way most people will be able to live on their SS checks, so they'd better think ahead and put money aside so they can enjoy their retirement and not work until the day they die. There were many years when our pay was lower and we were raising kids and weren't able to save. It's nice to be at the point where we can think of our future now and do something about it. Everyone can start small (like we did) and work up to putting more in each month.

We do both we have money aside for the future but we live well and can go out for dinner we have a nice home and there really isn't anything i want for and if i do i can usually buy it.Looking after our retirement is very important, just image when you are older and not working and trying to live on the little the government gives you your lifestyle would be miserable instead of being one of the best times of your life

I live everyday as if it was my last, but that doesn't mean that I do party and enjoy everyday, and not thinking about my future. I try to live today, today! and not to live today, as yesterday or the future. I try to live today, everyday, as if it was my last, I give my best shot everyday in my work, by doing so, I prepare my future.

I do both. I save and invest for my future. I also insist on enjoying my life now and trying to achieve everything I want to achieve in this life. I hate working all day – although at this point it is necessary. But I want to leave my mark on life and enjoy it to the fullest. It isn’t all about partying and having shallow fun. It’s about reaching for your dreams and doing what your heart desires.
