Let me first say, I love AALIYAH! I truly do... always have.
When she was still with us, I looked at her the same way I look at Rihanna now. She wasn't a power house singer, but had other things going for her like her style and her personality.
I don't believe that she would rank up there with Beyonce or Alicia Keys as far as the vocal ability, but I do believe that she would be liked just as much and she DEFINITELY would be just as popular because of her personality, style and her talent of not only singing, but also dancing and acting.
I love Aaliyah! Like I said, always!

Its sad that when a talented artist suddenly becomes recognized for his/her talent after they pass away. Its almost like it is an omen or something.
Would she be as popular as she was coming out to be back then? Maybe, maybe not.
After all look at Whitney, Mariah, all of the hip hop singers of the 90's and 2000's, music is constantly evolving and changing. Sometimes so fast, that the minute an artist gets a song on radio, they are already working on their next project.

Aaliyah was a wonderful singer,and if she was here she would be on the top rank.Aaliyah was know for her personality,an her style .
if she was here she would have done a few songs,and maybe a few movie roles and a few album.
Aaliyah was a dancer,who light a room when she sings and i am just sorry that she pass so soon.
