I have registered with so many different websites that promise cash for reading e-mails. But what they don't tell you until you are putting in the data that there will be a purchase required. Yet it says that there is no purchase required! Has anyone else found that their "freebies" actually are not "free"?

Sounds like you are talking about the "free offers" things. To me, it's not worth the time as you have to very carefully read the very fine print in the terms. Otherwise, you will accidentally sign up for a non-existent voice mail service charged to your phone bill (that's what happened to me). So... in my opinion, they are unethical and I don't waste my time. My favorite e-mail reading sites are Inbox Dollars and SendEarnings. All you have to do is open the email. They average about 2 cents a piece. You can earn more if you purchase something but you don't have to.

All the programs that i belong to, I have never put in any money of my own to make money. I always stay a free member. The earnings are slower but i always manage to make the minimum in a short time. On my profile page you can find banners for some of the programs that i work everyday, and they are all good payers and i have never had to pay anything to get payment.
