i am in the market for a new vehicle. i recently missed out on the rebates the government was issuing thru certain dealerships. let me ask your opinion. my car is in the garage. it won't crank. its not the battery or alternator. not sure what the problem is. it will cost $50 to tow it to the mechanic shop. My car is 9 years old. i purchased it brand new as i do everytime i am in the market for a new vehicle. i really like that ford edge but i am in love with the QX Infinity56. I am trying to decide what to do with my old car. not sure. any ideas?

Even if they're not offering the cash for clunker deal, can't you still trade it in at some kind of dealership? I'm not too sure about this stuff since I never owned a car. Or you could sell it on Craiglist, since it's a 200 model I'm pretty sure it'll still sell, just price it fairly according to KBB. And I would personally go for the Infinity, big fan of Nissan.

If it's not turning over at all it could just be the starter. But there are also a lot of fuses and sensors on cars that could cause that as well. Another thing is the fusible links to the starter might have blown out.
