Desperation...

Have you ever been so broke that you have started to sell your belongings online, like on Craigslist? I've been that way lately. I've literally been scouring the house to find things that people might want to pay for. I have to say that it's not the best feeling. I feel desperate and lame, but I have to do something for money while I search for a job! Has anyone else ever been through this?

Dear sredith, I know how you felt, I been through this (sort of).. When I was working, no worries, money will be in the account on every 25th of the month. Everything will be taken care of. But when I decided to be full time housewife, then I realised it is really tough for not having a continuous income to cover the never ending bills for electricity, water, internet etc. I have scouring the house for anything that the 'Cash Converters' (a shop that is very famous in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia) will buy second hand items from us and then resell it. Even a RM35 for a diamond ring that I found, will make me happy too! So far I have sold old watches, overnight bags, handbags, decorative items, plates, my children toys, pramp, wahtever I will bring and let them decide whether they want it or not! Hope you will get a stable job soon, God bless you!

I was working for a text answers company and got so used to having money all the time whenever I wanted it, but then they terminated my contract so now I've sold my Nintendo DS, my digital camera, and I'm trying to sell a bunch of other stuff now!

...Hi sredith, we do what we have to do to survive, it's good that you have things to sell. If you are in the United States, try to find a number for Purple Heart on the web. You can do telephone work and make as much money as you put into it. Even when you get a job, you can still do it at night. You just need to have a telephone plan that gives you unlimited usage. Take care.
