Mariah Carey is back or is she???

So Mariah Carey had performed today on the Oprah show, she sang "I wanna know what Love is". I haven't been a big fan of Mariah for the most part ever. I have still have to say I'm not a fan yet, and don't see it happening at all, any time soon. Now that said, I will say she does have a nice voice, I just don't like it when she hits those high notes just to hit the notes. Yes it is impressive, and I am impressed. But, I think it's pointless. It makes me cringe when she hits those notes just to hit them. I was hoping that she would be past this whole I have to hit these notes cause that's all I know to do, but I guess not. So I don't see Mariah having a lot of new fans, I think she would sing more than just stand there and hit notes. Yes yes that's what singing is, well to me singing has words. If I just want to hear a bunch of notes being hit, I'll listen to a violin. So yeah she's back, but she's exactly the same as she was before. Maybe good, maybe not.
