"Oh My God!!!!! You Don't Drink?"

**Disclaimer: I'm not trying to be preachy and self righteous. This is just a choice I've made.** A lot of people find it weird that I don't drink. I was in class once and a guy was asking everyone what their favorite alcoholic beverage was and he asked me and I said "I don't have one." and he said "Oh, so you'll just drink anything?" and I said "No, I don't drink." Then everyone in the class looked at me like I was crazy and they started asking me why. I don't think it's that strange. It's not a religious thing or anything, I just don't drink. Why can't people accept that?

theres nothing wrong if the person didnt drink. its only a normal reaction but dont take it seriously. they are just amaze to see someone who doesnt drink. maybe you need to elaborate why you dont. like you can simply say that you live a healthy life so you dont smoke and drink, or other excuses so it will be more clearer to them than just say i dont drink. it supposed to be i dont drink because of etc and etc. then if they heard it then they will stop.
