For instance, there's a local grocery that we frequent and on wednesdays they do 5% senior discounts. I don't ask for it (ego, I suppose) but am given it by a couple of the cashiers who know me. Now, the flip side of this little oddity is that we sometimes get our wine at this same store and the same cashier asks for ID. So I'm old enough for a senior discount but may not be old enough for alcohol..huh? Have you any oddities you'd like to share? ENJOY!
