Hello there Mylotters! I just got home from a quick vacation in Davao City (Philippines) the other day and I haven't been mylotting lately. Busy with work but I am glad I am back here! I thought I am not welcome in Davao because of the Smoke Free environment. The weather is totally hot than here in Manila. But I like the place because I feel safe and the prices are not that high. But the biggest thing I've noticed is the SMOKE FREE city. I admit I am a smoker and I had a hard time looking for a place I can smoke. If you got caught, maximum fine is P10,000 that's roughly $210. HAHA! But It's so nice to smell fresh air. I wasn't able to visit most places but I will definitely come back soon. I only stayed for 3 days so it's really quick. Oh! and I remember, they have this Hooka/ Shisha that is so cheap! For those of you who doesn't know what is Shisha, I'll post some pictures for you to see. It's tobacco is more safe than nicotine. Because it was made from dried fruits. cool right? This is what I love about life..exploring and traveling.:) I hope you can see the picture. If you can't just copy paste it. I stayed in a pension house near Davao Docs, downtown. Its cheap, I only paid P600/day. My friends told me there are more cheaper but the place where I stayed is much nicer. It's in downtown so you can walk wherever you want because it's in the City. About restaurants, hmm they have the popular 'tapsilogan' called Taps. It's more like Tapa King in Manila but cheaper. They also have Burger Space and.. there are a lot! I can't remember names you can just look around and you will see. And by the way, here's a tip for you: Never eat in a small eatery or 'Carinderia' because it's a bit expensive. I don't know why, I tried once and fast food and restaurants are more cheaper. And you better try their McDonalds and Jollibee. Trust me, their chicken is Fresh than here in Manila. The taste is good! The humid is twice hotter than in Manila. It felt like my skin burned. LOL! But the air is so fresh because of the smoke free city. When do you plan to visit the place?

that's right! You will surprised on how much money you can save prices are so cheap and so many things you can do! When do you plan to go there? Can you bring home more mango steen? haha I regret buying more because I thought it was expensive already 80pesos per kilo. Then when I got home I found out it's 200pesos per kilo here in Manila! haha Have fun and safe trip!
