I went back to the ER on friday because I was hurting so bad and they didn't find any blood clots in my legs. They also done an EKG and said my heart was fine at the time. But my heart was racing when i laid down and I tried to tell them that. ANyways, I was concerned earlier about the blood sugar and my blood pressure. and my blood pressure had come down just a little but it was still high and when I went back to the doctor this morning for fasting blood work. She just checked my blood sugar level and i was at 118. So according to her I'm a border line diabetic which really ain't changed much over the years. I've always been that way. anyways, I'm still cramping in my legs even with pain medicine that that the er gave me and my heart is still having the palputations(ireegular heart beat) My chest has a pain that comes and goes every once in a while and I get light headed when I stand up from time to time. I've also been fatgiued and restless meaning I could have slept for 10 hours straight and feel like I haven't slept at all because I would be up and down from the leg cramping and th eheart racing. No one else seemed to concerned even though there was nothing that showed up on the EKG. How can I explain what is going on when they keep not finding anything. I am getting adgitated because of the fact that I haven't been able to make an appointment with my pcp(family doctor) because he is never there. If this doesn't get better in a couple of days I'm going to back to the doctor again and just keep on trying. Like it will do anything differently

I'm not sure if this means anything or not,but my daughter was having similar problems and it was her thyroid gland. All regular tests came back that it was ok,so because she had edema in her legs they did a more intensive test of her thyroid.I'll have to ask her what it was called, but they found her thyroid was not quite right, and had to take half of it out. But,she did great. That's just a thought you might ask them about and I'll keep you in my prayers, too.

I hope the dr. really looks into everything for you-I know it's miserable. You have so many of the symptoms my daughter has,and they tell her the same thing. Taking out half her thyroid helped for awhile-now they tell her she needs tests on the other half because she has all the symptoms again.I'll see her today and ask her what that test is called and I'll let you know. I just hope everthing goes good for you.

I did talk to my daughter. She had seen the APRN instead of the Dr. and told her what she felt like. The APRN requested a scan of her thyroid and there was a growth on the right side of it.That's why they took out half of it-but as I said, she's having the symptoms again...but she's afraid of the tests because they also took a biopsy of her thyroid and she had to be awake...so she saw the needle. She doesn't want to let them take out the other half of it either. I hope you have gotten some answers since last time we talked on here.I will keep you in my prayers.
