What do you prefer the best, desktop computer or a laptop?

I don't think I could ever go back to a desktop as my only computer. I don't mind using them in a professional setting, or when I'm at a desk. But I'll only ever own a laptop at home. The flexibility of being able to use it on the sofa or on my bed is a life-saver. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't waste nearly as much time on my computer if I had a desktop.

I currently have 2 laptops ( 1 asus and 1 hp) I carry the hp In my backpack everyday to school so thats the portable. I never move the asus so I works like a regular computer.

I also like using laptop coz it is more comfortable to use with and can be handy too,can be used everywhere. But sometimes i like using desktop when doing lots of reports.

between a desktop and laptop, i like to use the laptop often because of convenience. we have both desktop and laptop at home. i prefer the laptop because i can use it anywhere inside the house and can even bring outside. the keyboard may be less durable than desktop but as the laptop is used for games a lot of times by my children, i purchased a separate keyboard with usb connection and let the children play using the detachable keyboard. in the office, i prefer using the desktop because it has a specific table for the purpose while using the laptop there would eat up a portion of ur table. not only that, desktops in the office have higher capabilities and i refrain from bringing my laptop to the office and use it for business purposes.

i prefer to desktop computer..because..you will handle...it as you want..and it's keys are not so senstive like...laptop...so i like desktop more than..laptop..

I really prefer if there is no electricity cut. I think desktop is powerfull. If a laptop is capable to run continuously for hours, then i prefer laptop. If laptop has last long battery, atleast 2gb ram, 400gb hard disk, i would like to use laptop.
