What do you think about Sam Raimi directing WoW movie? It will be about Arthas

This happened officially in July that Blizzard announced Sam Raimi to direct the movie that had been long in the working. There was another person that was working on it, compiling the lores and characters together but he left when Raimi was hired to do the job. Now I have no problem with Spiderman I think Raimi did a good job for the series, but does he know anything about WoW lores? I quit the game some months ago for personal reason. But I do hope the movie won't ruin WoW popularity. The game sure has about 11 millions subscribers now but if the movie strays too far off the lores I think it will ruin Blizzard reputation. I think the other guy (the one that left when Raimi was appointed) should also be involved in it. It seems he knows more about the lores then Raimi does. They are going to introduce the lores in the movie so that non gamers can keep up with it. The movie will be about Arthas. I personally think it will be nice if they start with pre BC as the first movie, then the next sequel will be BC and so on up to Arthas and Ulduar. The game itself has really nice graphic and music, I'd rather watch it as movie than playing it. What do you think about Blizzard decision? I didn't know that there was going to be a Wow movie, but it should be interesting. I am sure the directors and writers have conspired and worked with the Blizzard people and that the lores should be included. Every movie lacks part of the story it is based on, but I hope too that the movie is as good as the game.

That's true. There is a lot of stories and character all packed into one game. Can you imagine if they tried to include all of that in one movie? It would be longer then the Godfather!!! I am sure there would be people who would watch it anyway. We will just have to wait and see when they actually put the movieout. My understanding is that they have been discussing it for a loooooong time now! Good luck with everything!
