There is a changing of the guard in the NFL in 2009. Some of the perennial contenders will fall short and some of the also rans and patsies will start to find their way. The biggest change will be the San Francisco 49ers coached by Hall of Famer Mike Singletary. Singletary is being the same edge to coaching that he did as middle linebacker for the Super Bowl Champion 1985 Chicago Bears. We predict they will win the FNC west division at 12 and 4. Arizona will finish 9 and 7 and out of the playoffs. The venerable Kurt Warner will lead a heroic battle but they will fall short. The NFC East will be a slugfest. The Giants, The Eagles, the Cowboys and Redskins will almost battle to a draw. Surprise guess who will win, the Redskins at 9 and 7 tied but mathematically ahead of the Giants. This could change if the Eagles have to turnto Michael Vick if McNabbs injury to his ribs does not heal properly. Michael Vick is a game changer who now has a chip on his shoulders. The Oakland Raiders will make a big change and make the playoffs this year. Jamarkus Russell is becoming a NFL quarterback and leader and they have always had the talent. It will be good to see the Silver and black back.
