Hi guys, I have been checking some gaming PC's lately and have been very surprised to see how much they evolved as I haven't really been paying attention these last years. High end gaming computers like Alienware or HP come with RAM memory up to 12GB and Graphics card of up to 2GB and Even processors of up to 3.2MHz which come with overclocking options. This may sound excessive but I suppose gaming enthusiasts will really enjoy computers like that. If only I had the money to buy one lol.

ya high end gaming pcs really burn a hole ones pocket. some of them are outrageous in terms of price and its too good to believe that people spend so much money just for gaming. I am a gamer too but beyond a point i try to restrict myself from spending too much on games and upgrading my computer. Though i still dream of owning a Mini super computer which i can use to play Games. I am a hardcore FPS player and i sure would like to play those kind of games in virtual reality. it will be nice to know what it feels to be in a real battle field but i am afraid i will have to wait for a long time for this to happen.

Yes the new gaming computers look and are AWESOME! Every component in those has its own cooling system I think and they require loads of power =) And ofcourse with gaming engines like CryEngine 3 coming the virtual reality will soon become a reality :D

Well, games such as Far Cry 2 and Crysis are pushing gaming machines to their limits. I don't recall think that such machines are excessive, but rather they are catching up with technological advances. I have no doubt such machines will soon be outdated when more powerful games comes up. By the way, a good desktop gaming machines can be bought at quite a reasonable price.
