How do you promote your blog?

Do you have a blog? Do you have high traffic to it? I've been blogging for about three years, joining forums that pertain to my blog, doing everything I can think of to promote it and get more traffic, mainly because I have adsense on it and would like to earn some money from sharing my knowledge.
So far I've promoted my blogs by joining Blog Catalog, putting a sig. line in my forum signatures, following other blogs with similar interests, tweeting my new posts to twitter and facebook. Now I've found another avenue of promotion. This one allows you to receive 100% of any adsense revenue your "scoops" generate, so you get adsense from your blog and from promoting it. They have a referral program that allows you to collect revenue from one ad on your referral's scoops too. If you'd like to check it out look at the top ad in my profile.

I have a blog but I don't write in it very often. I think it might have two or three people who pop in as sporadically as i write in it. LOL I'm better on sites like Gather, and here on Mylot, where it's more interactive than just one person writing a blog for a bunch of followers to read.
