I have never played with snow. I live in a place which is hot almost throughout the year. There is monsoon season, but it is not that prominent. So, I live in heat most of the year. I have seen pictures of snow appearing in western countries. I never got a chance to paly with it. I have also hear about skating and snow balls.

you are right. here monsoon is not consistent at all. The world is becoming hotter by the day.I Wonder how the climate will be after 50 years, With the ricing prices its difficult to maintain a decent life Making it less affordable to stay always in an air-conditioned room

Snow is overrated. It's basically frozen water, so it hurts your hands and fingers after a few seconds. Not to mention it has to be cold to snow where you are, which also hurts. Which means shivering uncontrollably, being uncomfortable every second you're outside, it hurts to breathe, your fingers, nose, ears all hurt (first it's a sharp pain, then they go numb, and then when you go inside and start to warm up, it burns). I live in Canada and I hate the winter. It's horrible. Summer's much nicer. Then you can go outside and relax. In winter, the snow can be nice to look at from inside, but you can't stay inside all winter long, you still have to go out and go to work, get groceries, etc.

i can understand what you mean. Winter in Canada is too harsh, few of my friends are there and they always find it difficult to cope with winter but on the whole Canada is is nice to place to stay. I still want to touch the snow atleast once in my life as i have seen them only in movies and on television.

I've never been in snow except for when I was a baby. One time, it did rain here though and it turned into snow. What a site to see. It never rains here since I'm in the Bay Area of CA.

Yes, I have and it is wonderful. The very first time I saw snow was in Holland (it does not snow there often because of the North Sea, it blows it all away). Having come from a tropical country, I was so amazed that I actually grabbed a handful and licked it. It was like shaved ice. What I like about snow is that the views are fantastic when everything turns white. I don't like winters when there is no snow, when it's just rainy and plain humid. I like winters where you have a good snowfall, dry and sunny. Wonderful. Even if you live in India, you could still see snow. How about going to Kashmir? There are actually skiing places there, or so I heard. You could also check Manali, Ladakh and of course your mountain (Kachenchunga).
