2009-2010 The Finals or Bust

Last season, forgive the cliche, was truly magical. The casual fan may have been in shock that the team from the "dried up little pond" made it all the way to the NBA Finals. However, I think anyone who witnessed the Orlando Magic play, saw the greatness behind the team. The Orlando Magic played an untraditional game where 4 snipers waited in the wings and one player dominated in the paint. Long story short, this method was able to beat the Sixers, Celtics and Cavs and propel the Magic to the NBA Finals. The Magic lost the series 4-1, but every game, except game 1, could have ended either way. Despite making it to the Finals, the Magic made significant changes to their roster. Below is a list of players lost and gained: Players Lost Hedo Turkoglu Rafer Alston Courtney Lee Tony Battie Players gained Vince Carter Ryan Anderson Brandon Bass Matt Barnes Jason Williams With this changes in roster and development of players on the roster it will be interesting to see how the team meshes this season. I believe this season will be the first of many Orlando Championships.
