Do you eat a well balanced diet?

We tend to eat any meal without knowing if we are consuming all the vitamins which our body needs. However, there are some people who are conscious of what they are eating. I recently went to follow a course in nutrition and from then i prepare my food according to the nutrients they contain. What about you?

I thought that i was eating a well balanced diet until i went to a natural doctor and had my blood tested to see what i was lacking, and i found out that i was not getting all the things that my body was missing from the food i was eating. So now i supplement with the things i was not getting from my food.

I want to believe that I'm eating a well balanced diet, by including all the foods in the food pyramid in my every meal. Even though I don't eat vegetable that much, I make it a point to include it in my meal. It's hard to follow a balanced diet at first because you tend to eat more of the food that you are comfortable with and eat less of the food you want, like for me vegetables. Strictly follow your diet for two weeks and your body will eventually adapt to it. Having a well balanced diet is a good start to having a healthy lifestyle.
