Halloween is upcoming, it is the date for the kids, who can dress up in funny or scary costumes and go " trick or treaing" by knocking on the doors of their neighbour. Have you prepared enough gifts for the kids ? I see from the internet that there is an activity hosted in Disneyland in HK, it think it is a good place to celebrate. How about you? Where are you planing your Halloween? Is there any funny or scary story that you can share with us in the past years?

We are always at home on Halloween. My kids have not missed any "trick or treating" at all. This year, they are going to do it by themselves as they are now older. Until last year, I always did it with them together with a bunch of kids in the neighborhood. I have stored enough candies to give out to kids in my area but I think I will add more, just in case. I can't think of any funny or scary story but I always see Halloween as a fun activity for both kids and adults alike.

The kids would like to have their own party if they grows up, right? Have you been ever tricked by the kids without the candies on hand? LOL.

Once or twice, it did not really scare me. Caught me by surprise but they laughed so much at the expression on my face that I joined in the laughter.

I would LOVE to go to Disneyland for Halloween, that'd be like a dream come true. But we're stuck in my hometown, which is ok too! :) On Halloween night, we'll be going Trick or Treating, the night before we'll be going to a Safe Halloween event. On October 24th, I'll be having a Halloween party. Plus there are several other events that we'll be going to.

I am from Singapore where Halloween isn't a big festival so it is not being celebrated just as much as in countries like U.S, Europe or U.K. The way Singaporeans celebrate Halloween is just by dressing up as characters or celebrities they fancy and then just throw a party either at home or any chalets. Some people would attend some functions organize by some night clubs such as Zouk, M.O.S or any of the other clubs to party the night away.

It is seemingly a good chance to know the western culture in the special festival for the kids who did not grow in in US, Europe or UK. Except for the fun, they can learn a lot and gain a lot memory in their childhood. I see that many places all around the world will hold some activity to celebrate even it is not trick or treat. Happy Mylotting!
