Do you think the Zune HD will be able to kill the iPod Touch?

Microsoft is trying to bring down Apple on all fronts. Zune HD is one example. Its features seem compelling enough, but it doesn't seem to be as easy to use as the iPod Touch. And the Touch has a vast software and media library which the Zune can't compete with yet. What do you think?

nah.. MS still suffers a perception issue, and Apple cannot do wrong, even though Apple would love to be the monopoly that MS is supposed to be.

But Zune does have a couple of good features, especially the Zune Pass which appears quite attractive. Featurewise it seems a good match, especially that it may be better than the Touch in gaming. Also everyone is waiting for Apple to come crashing down.

Good points, I think from a tech stand point the Zune is better, but perception is still the key.

Hey, Well I don't really think that it will be able to kill the iPod touch, the main reason is because Microsoft has only made the Zune HD, about as good as the iPod. Microsoft need to get in their head that in order to win, they need to produce products BETTER than the competition, not AS GOOD! Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I dont think so. I think ipods will prevail. The new 3rd gen touch is gonna rock. Also as a bonus, apple also came out with the new nano that takes video. Its a nifty cool feature, but if you really think about it, if you own a cell phone, it probably can already take pics and vids so it renders the new features of the ipod nano obsolete.
