what is a bible on your own understanding?

bible is a history of how god created the world and the things that he done to us. the bible tells who really god is and to know why people became a sinner.

I am not a religious person so I hope I do not offend anyone but my opinion is that considering there are so many different religions and they all have their own book how do we know which book is THE book..know one really knows who wrote these books or even when..over the years things have been changed and proven incorrect so why should any of it be accepted...I think we should have more faith within ourselves rather than reading one of the many books that people seem to think we should follow.

The Bible is an anthology of books inspired by God. Taken together and chronologically, the stories show the history of salvation which culminates in the New Testament, the story of Jesus. Now, man is a sinner by choice. He had been given a free will to discern good and evil.
