It's so hard to get direct referrals!!!

I tried to invite my friends to join under me or be my referral to the ptc sites i'm a member of or even to join here at myLot. But it's so hard to convince them. They're so skeptical about joining. And those were my friends. How much more those who doesn't know me? Are you also having a hard time getting direct referrals? If not would you mind sharing your tactics?

i know shadow..i feel the same way.. but form my experience..the best referrals are those that sign up willingly under you... paid referrals would only sign up for the money/credits then never come back... but those who sign up coz they want to be part of the program would really work they way to earn tthemselves extra $$$$ too...... so what I do is....put my links and banners in my site...and find ways to increase my traffic... I have been getting quality referrals that way. remmeber...more referrals means more cash!

check my site (August 2 post) I wrote about how to build your own site the simplest way!! even 10 year old kids can do it..... then there are more posts on montetizing your site...somewhere in my september archives link to my site is in my profile page...

Well the key is to first make friends and build raport. If you have a connection with people, soon they will be interested on helping if you are sincere to them and they mean to be friends. Don't give up just be yourself and try not to push this on anyone. Or look for people who have this interest and ask if they will trade.

Previously, I don't really care to find referrals coz i don't think i can find any of them anyway. I've tried posting in the forum but it didn't really work for me. Now i'm trying to trade referral and i got every referrals that join under me that way. This way i can get more referral and more sites. The con is that some of them are not really active.
