How Could People Ever Come Up With Such A Law To Inconvenient Working Mums?

Of late, I was rather surprise with how people could be insensitive these days? Law are made to protect the people but to hamper peoples' life and livelihood is certainly new here. I did not know that in the UK working mothers are not allowed to look after each others' child. Can you believe this? Will a mother not know how to take care of their children or other people's children? I wonder how these people can think of such a law? This does not suprise me as some of the laws in the UK are absolutely outrageous and i agree that these laws should be better thought up or at least reviewed by the necessary people!

loneraver, In the first place, a review would not be necessary when these people sitting on their butts would actually use their common sense and sensitivity. A license for minding children, boy, are they from this earth? I doubt so.

cynthiann, You can say this again and now we are having leaders loosing some common sensitivity and pure logic. Speaking which I am just wondering how the kids are growing up at their end and I do not think is anything near promising...... How could they do something that will want to degrade the society any further? Mothers having to get a license to take care of other children?

This has got to be one of the stupidest laws I ever heard off....but than again, the people who make up these laws have ulterior motives behind everything that they do and that benefits them in some way and sets everyone else back!

angemac23, You really have a point here, but it is just surprising to me for it to come from a well established place like the UK. I feel that this is just unexpected and that it is just unbelievable. I wonder if the benefits would ever come to light, but the authorities had better withdraw such a procedure and implementation. Take care.
