Should government focus on the real economy not the wall street economy?

Recent events have shown that the Obama government has been paralyzed by big time lobbyist in Washington, in his efforts to regulate the massive corporate greed shown by wall street, undermining the real street.

How Wall Street operates has a huge effect on how the rest of the nation operates. When things are bad on Wall Street, it trickles down to the rest of the city and the rest of the nation. Therefore, when you focus on what's going on on Wall Street, you essentially focus on what's going on in the rest of the nation.

Wall street should be regulated, since they are the cause of the current financial crisis. With their corporate greed, the ordinary folk suffer, while they enjoy big fat bonuses.
