So United take on the German champs next. How good do you think Wolfsburg are? Dxeko looks a monster during the weekend. Scholes played during the weekend, which probably mean that Anderson will start. Are you concerned about Nani and Valencia after their performance during the weekend?

I think Wolfsburg is the strongest opponent of Man Utd from this group and that the two teams will be the ones to qualify. It will be a difficult match, but it will be played on Old Trafford. I don't know if Nani and Valencia will play from the first whistle. I'm guessing Sir Alex Ferguson will play with Giggs, Anderson, Fletcher and Scholes in midfield. Even if Nani and Valencia will play, I think it will be a totally different game, as Wolfsburg will play football on Old Trafford, unlike Stoke, who tried to hang on to that 0-0 for dear life. A more opened type of play from the opponents will allow the wingers to express themselves much better.

I'm pretty sure that Park will start this game. He hasn't played much this season and Fergie loves Park in the Champions League.

There you go... Park is another valid option to start the game with.

The score was 2-1 to Man Utd... excellent goal from Carrick but, I felt United could've and should really have scored many more goals... one goal was disallowed as well, for offside.

United had quite a few chances. Valencia's and Carrick's first half misses were poor. Valencia didn't even tested the keeper, just like he did during the weekend. He needs to be more clinical. His overall contribution was poor too. But Carrick looks like his old self against, he's passes had purpose and he didn't have many turnovers.

Hi fallenjinx, I never response to a Man United interest before because I am not a Man united supporter. I am afraid someone will be offended when I respond here. But since this is about Champion League I think it is ok for me. I think Man United is much better then Wolfsburg. Their performance also much better this season in English Premier League then Wolfsburg in Bundesliga. Wolfsburg might have a good striker in Dzeko but Man United got Rooney. Wolfsburg also without the coach they coach them when they lift the Bundesliga trophy last season. They also lost a couple of games already and I don't think they can lift the cup again. England representative in Champion League is much better teams then the Germany representative.
