As I look out the window...

As I look out the window I notice the clouds roll by. They float and mover at the beckon of the wind but at the same time they seem to be free to do what ever they want. In many ways this is like life, is it not? People are free to do whatever they want but at the same time are beckoned by a wind. Whether or not that wind is the government, religion, your employer, etc., is different for all of us yet common at the same time. My question is what do you guys think is stronger? The wind that beckons the person or the person's own free will? Afterall, as hard as they might try clouds go where the wind tells them to.
