What is the difference of the tabs new, recent, and started?

They are all synonyms, is there a certain way that they are organized? I noticed that when I was creating this discussion I was in the new tab.

New = new discussion / just been created by all members recent = discussions which got updated / replied most recently Started = list out all the discussions that you started I hope this may help you.
