As a freelance content writer i feel very unsecure about the works and from last 4 -5 months i am not having steady income due to lot of scam sites and people not assigning good assignments. I have faced lot of probelms while in bidding sites and through normal advertisments as after applying they either do not respond or after submitting a sample copy they reject unnecessary without proper reason. Though i have experience in my field i am not able to get a good assignment. How can one know whether the person offering job is geniune one or not in this recession period. I am feeling helpless hope mylotters do have same problems.Share and give any suggestions

It is tough question to answer. There is not theory to work out about scam sites, lot of them are there. All you have to see is that how many are happy with a particular site. You can do that by reading the payment proofs and read the faqs. Some of the sites take lot of traffic from us and give an amount which is like a peanut. So, only choice you have is leave freelancing and look for a stable job or else work as hard as you can with some genuine sites, so, that you can make more peanuts. For suppose if you can daily contribute 50 discussions or respond 50 discussions on mylot. you can easily earn the $9. Look for sites which is similar to mylot and work hard.. All the best..

You are right that if we continue work on mylot we can earn easily but i do'nt think his can be the main source of your income as it will take lot of time to earn as the processing is tedious. And at any time they may stop this program i have experienced it before in ibibo.com, so i am telling you. A constant income is must and for that we need flow of projects. Previously i have worked in fulltime job but suddenly due to this recession or some other reason i lost my job. When i was working there i never got reasonable salary for the work i use to do. I was given extra work and was paid less but still i did nt bothered and worked sincerely but whats the use. That is why i feel one should find his own source and started freelancing work which is really very good if you get a geniune provider.

In freelancing nothing will be sure because you are working on contract base and you have no agreement with these websites. You will be joining to their agreement and terms not ours. So, in the agreement when you are registering with website, they will clearly mention a line saying that earning system will change according to management. So, we cannot suit these websites as well. I agree with you that one cannot make full time on earning in these websites. If one wants the stable income then one need to work in a company then working like a freelance. Companies will follow the rules accordingly and if they do not find anyone worth then they will intimate that particular person well in advance.. In Freelance, you have to take risk and patience is required a lot. Nothing is certain in freelance jobs. I too lost a lot of money in Ibibo.com. These people are around Rs 3000 due for me..They are not paying me from past 6 months, telling all bul*sh@it stories..
