What's up with the QUIZZES?

What's up with the Quizzes tab here on myLot? And just exactly how long has it been there? I just noticed this tab today, and it makes me wonder if I haven't been very perceptive, or if it just appeared all of the sudden. Or at least just recently? So does anyone know what the quizzes are for? Are they just for fun? Do we get paid to take quizzes?

i know quizzes are only available for US residents. i can't tell exactly what it has to offer because i can't do it as i am a non-US member. quizzes tab appears about a month now, or over a month, if i can remember well.

Oh thank you for your answers here in this discussion neildc. I think that I know what kind of quizzes they are now. Like maybe they ask for U.S. zip code, and they want to get people from the U.S. on a mailing list. I have seen these on other sites as well. I presume that you do not get paid for taking the quizzes, unless you count junk mail as your payment. LOL Thanks again, and have a wonderful day!
