I was extremely bored at work yesterday afternoon, so my coworker and I grabbed a couple of promotional yo-yos that they hand out at special events and went to her office to chat and play with them. I didn't play with them much when I was younger, but I've always managed the basic gravity pull trick, and really wanted to learn more. She taught me the sleeper, and I've been spending most of this morning perfecting that. Do you know any tricks with a yo-yo? Anything really neat?

That is so cool. I would love to learn to do tricks with a yo-yo. I myself, was one who could barely get it to come back up more than once or twice. I have seen people who can do all kinds of tricks, like spin them in the air, walk the dog, etc. But I have never met anyone personally. Another thing that I would like to learn to do is to juggle. I have practiced learning to juggle with just two balls in one hand for years. I will get up to about 7 or 8 tosses, and that's about as far as I could ever get. Sometimes I think it would have been great to grow up around clowns or in a circus. I would have learned all kinds of neat tricks. LOL

LOL I agree. I know some people that can do some pretty neat things with yo-yos, or other toys, and I wish I had that kind of talent. Juggling would be fun, too. Another toy I never really got the hang of was a boomerang. My uncle was really good with it, and I remember him trying to teach me when I was young, but I just couldn't master it.
