Life is shutting woun one of the mejors singers who could have had Latin america and the world, Mercedes Sosa, "La negra", shes 74 years her health is in the hand of doctors and God. My heart cres for this news, I am far from my country and I can only follow these events through the Internet. For you are reading this and still do not know who is Mercedes Sosa, do not know what they are missing, these are poets of music, are people, are soul , are song. God wath over you and keep you my dear Mercedes Sosa. Look in youtube your videos and know your music. Thanks

Hi friend, I missed your post about our Mercedes Sosa last year. Now, while answerig another, I got yours. I can still remember the first time I saw her in TV, her big dresses and her beautiful voice singing Gracias a la vida or solo le pido a Dios. When I remember her I think that those songs are part of my life and my beliefs: solo le pido a Dios/ que la guerra no me dea indiferente...

Hi, i know its old discussion, but...i adore mercedes sosa and her work for the latin american society. I wish I could go for her concert...but now its impossible. I believe you are argentinian. Aint you? I hope she rests in peace and watches us from the heaven. I love you Mercedes!
