Here in Andhra Pradesh there was tremendous flooding due to incessant rainfall. The central authorities had warned the state authorities to release water from dam but the state authorities delayed releasing water from the dam as a result it lead to flooding in 2 districts and several others being affected. More than 200 lives were lost and people had spend their time on rooftops with little help from government authorities.Such incidents can be better handled with more care. What is your view dear mylotterrs?

It is year after year that we face floods in one or the other part of the country, but there is no plan in place to see that these calamities do not recur. We do not even have a proper Emergency Handling Force. This is the result of so many politicians being totally corrupt and callous about their constituencies, where implementation of welfare schemes is only for their and their parties welfare. How come where there is so much diversity and infighting amongst people from different parts of India, there is no such thing amongst politicians in the ground level. They are all equally corrupt and incompetent wherever they come from?

I fully accept your view.We are woefully lacking in all facilities to tackle such a fury of nature.Yes the politicians are united to attain their goals but we as a people are divided.
