Well, it is not something out of the world I am going to write here. If it disappoints you, my apologies in advance. Today morning I went to the hairstylist/hair dresser. I was to get my haircut, hair dyed and ofcourse one round of shaving. I invariably go for a shave along with my haircut as I find the open razor shave that the hairdresser gives is closer that the best triple-blade Gillete one that I could do for myself. I have this peculiar habit when the shaving act is going on. Since, while giving the shave, the pro has to place his hans and fingers close to my noe I hold my breath. I draw breath when his hands are away and hold it as his hands hovers around mu mouth and nose. I am somehow averse to breathing on to somebodies hands- so I end up doing several rounds of pranayama(= control of breathing). Do anyone of you feel like this?

Yes, I have similar feelings when I go for a haircut. When the lady giving the cut, comes to the front and places her hands over my face to trim the hair in front, I hold my breath. I somehow feel that while exhaling, a lot of germs from within our body is expelled thru the exhaled air and so I should not breathe out contaminated air on somebody’s else’s hand.

Wow, so I have company. I thought my habit was peculiar. Because hairdressers have wondered why I do this. I do have to give abit of explanation.
