It doesn't mean we are gamblers, maybe out of curiousity or a result of friend's prodding. I actually did and I won a considerable amount. I was so happy that I went back again to the same place on my own but that time I lost. It was followed by another adventure hoping the get the smile of lady luck but again, lost. Most of the money that I won was lost and I decided to stop before I get addicted. Gambling is really addicting. Have you tried to gamble?

I did tried to gamble and lost. I was playing online poker and i won 14 euros. I could have just withdraw that money and put it in my netbookers account but i became greedy and bet all of that money hoping i can double it before i withdraw. Imagine if i can double up that money, i was already thinking what im gonna do with 28 euros. Sad to say i lost and end up with nothing. I still regret doing that but it's ok i learned from that mistake to not gamble again...dang!!

Wise move there. I'm sure you will feel the urge again but your experience will give you strength to resist the temptation. cheers!

Yes, I've tried it before. My mom always wanted me to go to bingo with her once I was old enough. I didn't care for it though, even when I did win! All I wanted to do was take my money and run! LOL But as my mom had already paid for the night I had to stick it out. Unfortunately I didn't win any more that night. I went a couple more times with her. There was another time that I won, but had to split the winnings as there were others that won as well. Another time I went I didn't win anything at all. LOL Needless to say it's worse to lose than it is to win. But I was still bored out of my mind just the same! I don't care to gamble at all. The most I do now is play the lottery occasionally. And only a dollar here or a dollar there, if I happen to remember to play at all. I know my chances of ever hitting it big are slim to none, but I figure I might as well give it a shot anyway. Happy mylotting!

I don't try to gamble ever even the simple cards games I don't know. Sometimes it is also addicted I hate to be hook to it. I remembered whenever we stayed in my Father's sister during their fiesta there source of income is through gambling. Their lives revolves in gambling my cousins at the young age they exposed in this kind of environment that all of their neighbors know how to gamble even at the young age.

I never thought of gambling. It's a risk that have a really huge odd to win. If I use that money that I use to bet on something really useful, I might earn something already. The weird thing is, most people already realized that gambling can cause addiction despite losing all the win, but they still trying and can't stop. It's better not to involve and stuck in it.

Good thinking. It's not worth the risk. Some people just refuse to open their eyes. It is really a form of addiction. Have fun.

What a coincidence. I was just thinking about the money I lost last month due to a friendly poker game with friends, and POOF! I see your discussion :) It is addicting in a sense that you have to bet again, thinking you could get back what you have lost. And it goes on and on in a vicious cycle. It was a good thing I had the sense to stop as I saw my money was just enough for me to be able to go home :D It started out really good, as I had a winning streak. But after a few deals, everything I had was lost. I lost around 70php then. I swore never to gamble again!

I'm a member of an online casino website and I'm pretty happy with the way I have handled things. I have been with them a long time now and I have never experienced any problems. If you go down the road of gambling or playing in a casino and so forth then you have to be prepared experience loss of money from time to time, this won't always be the case, you will definitely win at times too! Before decided to undertake this I think things through very carefully and thought about all the implications as well. Anyway, I only play with money that I'm prepared to lose, not much, normally about £10 every few months. When I experienced a loss I was feeling down about it but I was prepared for that. On the other side of the token, when I won I was really happy! I didn't continue to chase my losses as it were and I pulled out immediately, this is the safest way to play I think. I would not encourage gambling though. You have to make some definite decisions about how you are going to deal with things. Andrew

My friends brought me to this Bingo house. As usual I lost! I guess I just don't attract good luck that much and most of the good things I get, I get them through my own efforts. for the record, I have NEVER won the lottery, I have never won anything in raffle draws, geez, I don't even hit my alarm clock properly when it blares in the morning!

Yes, I have gamble and won some and then went back but lost. We use to go once every other month but we did not win to much. We have quit going as it is no fun when you do not win once in awhile.

Me, and my ML are fond of lottery tickets. Because her niece won the lottery. So my ML is having some temptation and of course for me too. So we bought one ticket. But my FL does not like it and will become furious if he comes to know that we bought one. So we hide that ticket and during the announcement of the results, we both set out to see our fate with the ticket telling my FL that we are going to buy some vegetables. But alas, we missed our fortune by one number. Just one number prior to us got Rs.25,000/ (around Rs.45/ makes one $1).

Yes, I have tried gambling at the casino. The local casino sent me coupons for money to play on their slot machines. I had won a huge amount at first. But thought I could win more but just wound up losing the money I had won and a little bit extra. I thought lady luck would change for me too. But it never did. I don't think I will ever visit the casino again. Maybe in the future, but it won't be to gamble.

hey gambling is not about winning or losing dude:( it is more than that, it is just like life philosophy but from our own darkside. Gambling is the essence of what we do in our life, every step you take, it is a gambling though you dont realize it. i love gambling a lot :) but i never get addicted to it (alright i used to get addicted :p) and trust me you have to try it even once! It is not about winning or losing it is about moving forward to gain something bigger or just stay the way you are and enjoy your "normal" life until your time comes:D

Gambling is really a problem. If you don't know when to stop and if you are using money meant for other things, then you really have a problem. I go the casino quite often but I know when to stop. I usually budget for this and when I'm done, I'm done. The biggest problem is greed. If you have won some, you always think you can win more and that's where the problem starts. I rather leave when I have won than stay there and spend that as well.

i am sure gambling is addictive, anything that feels good is addictive. I love to gamble to, but i have a easy way to control it, i am poor. so i rarely have enough to bother taking it out to the casino. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the slots have a subliminal message in them, because sometimes i hear a song on the TV and it reminds me of a slot. If i go to have fun i win, but if i go to win i lose, i think it is a mind thing. So i try to just go to eat up time or get out of the house. then it doesnt matter if i win or loose i got out and enjoyed myself..
