Boletus mushroom preperation

Today I found a jackpot of delicious Suillis Luteus mushrooms or Slippery Jack of the Woods.. This is a great fall mushroom and I have had it before. I plan to clean and dry them for later use in soups. I have never actually peeled a mushroom before and I am a little intimidated by the slippery nature of these tasty treats. Does anyone know of any particular methods of peeling that are easy? Thanks for any help. Recipes would be great here too. Let's make this the most informative mushroom discussion on here yet! I will post pictures as soon as my camera charges.
