What do you think of mystery ads?

In particular I am thinking of two from several years ago, one national and one that probably was local. These are ads that appear for weeks or months just giving the name of something but not what it actually is. The national one ended up being for some allergy medicine which, even though I have had allergies all my life, I will never use because of this ad and at the moment I can't even think of the name of the product which shows how effective the ad was. The local one ended up being for a furniture store that was coming to my town, I don't know if it is a national chain or not, and the only way I will get furniture from them is if it is free, they deliver it and pay any income taxes that my be associated with it because it was free. I guess you can tell that I hate those type of ads. How do you feel?
