why so many guys never select a best response for their discussion?

I found that many guys in mylot never select a best response for their discussion, also have some guys even never follow the discussion he/she started. they only start the discussion (also have some meaningless topics) but don't care if somebody replied.
I think it's should be polite to the mylotters whom focus on your topics and give their response carefully. this also can encourage the mylotter to reponse your discussion later. so please do spend more your time to follow your discussion and also select the best response for them. thanks.

I do agree with you but some of my discussions only recieved 1-3 responses hence, I do now want to mark it first. But for those that i have responded that got so many responses, I think they have mark it as some of us really put up some effort to respond. For me, once I received a comment from one of my discussion, I make sure that I will reply to that so people may not feel that their views are gone to waste.

they not select the best response for them to not think of it??
lack of time or lack ofinterest so they didnt follow his or her discussion,,
we can not blame them if they dont have enough time in checking or adding their discussion,,
we should understand them

Yes, this is so True. Even with my Busy lifestyle I am behind in responding and marking the Best responses for all of my discussions but I do try and come in here as I can and respond back to others and mark the Best Responses to help show everyone I am still here, and care about what you have to say in here as well.

Hi shajerrl, I do notice that many friends here haven’t selected best response though they have started a great number of discussions. I like posting responses to discussion starters who take good care of their discussions by leaving comment on all the responses received. It’s nice to have continual comments if both parties have more ideas and feelings to share with. Of course we need time and mood to do so 
I think it would be easier for us to select a best response if we cope with it after starting a new discussion for a short period. 
I always do the selection of BR work with procrastination. So I still have two unresolved discussions in my list. Hopefully I could get them settled very soon

I know most of us try to write posts here during our leisure time. I understand that, may be you are busy with your personal affairs in real life. Sometimes I do don’t have any extra spare time to cope with the responses received in my discussions. It's always never late to deal with it after some time. Usually, I try to add comments later on relaxingly if I find some spare time.

Some users just don't have time to comment back to the responses they receive, let alone pick the best response. Then again, some of them will get so many responses to their discussions that they just can't seem to get through all the responses, or there just aren't good enough reponses, or there are several different ones and it is hard for them to pick just one. I have had that problem myslef. I didn't get a lot of responses, but I would get more than one good answer, so I would go over them all again, and read them to pock the best one. It is very hard at times when tha happens, and I sure wish we could give more than one, but since we can only gi e one, then I want to make sure I pick just the right one.
