A friend of mine recently taking 2 jobs. One day time full - time job, and the second is night time part time job. So, normally, he has to work at least 12 horus a day. He only have half day off during the weekend, and all other time he has to be at work. Sometimes, I call him to hang out with us, he just couldn't spare an hour or two. Well, he just working too hard, and spend most of time at both works. I hope that he can save enough money sooner, and we can hangout again in our spare time.

Some people enjoy working. Maybe he does not like "hanging out", have you ever discussed this with him, does he feel deprived by working long hours? I would certainly not make it a competition, work or you, it would probably breed resentment and be counter productive. Why not go along with the flow, meet him for lunch, he does get a lunch break does he not? He is probably tired in the evening so long drawn out social engagements are probably out of the question. Most people seem to have trouble keeping one job these days so I think he has to be admired for holding down two jobs.

Oh no, I definitely have problem with him working 2 jobs. I admired him too such a hard working individual. People should work harder these days. I won't blame him for that or anything else.

i had once experienced that kind of situation before, when i was a college student for a while, i was registered as full-time student and plus three part-time jobs, week days one at campus 2 hours each day for 3 days, one at a restaurant 3 hours for 5days, one during the weekends too. For a whole semester my life was in a same rutine as home-campus-work, no spare time at all, the result turned out was terrible, low GPA and supper tired body. so unless you really have no choice to go, don't choose a life like that, that is so not a life if i can say, so i also like to pray for your friend wish he can have a normal life.
