Is it right to fire crackers on Diwali?

Dear friends,
In my childhood, we have fired a lot of crackers, that time we were so happy, but now I have known that crackers make by small kids, and create so much air, noise pollution.
And this is bad for our health. So I think it is not right to fire crackers on Diwali.

I donno how to comment if its right or wrong, but I do think they are made by children and several get injured while making them. It does cause lots of sound, air pollution.
