I have constipation problem since many years?

I have constipation problem since many years. I do not eat junk food and only I eat home made food. Also I drink many water. Does any know any medicien course? Kindly help me. Due to this I lost my health.

For constipation, you have to take the recommended daily amount of fiber (20 to 35 grams), and drink 64 ounces of water or juice a day. You should not have food that have little or no fiber, such as ice cream, cheese, meat and processed foods. You can also improve by exercising, reserving enough time to have a bowel movement and having a bowel movement when needed. If nothing of this works, do consult a doctor.

Thanks for your valuable response. I agree with your advice, but there is a one question, what is bowel movement. I can't understand this term. Please clarify it. Thanks & Regards Abhishek Jain

Hi Abhi Once upon a time i too was suffering from the same problem. Then I started taking one big ripe guava every day along with apple, ripe banana and papaya two times a day. Then the problem is solved. We should also drink hot water early in the morning immediately after getting up from the bed in the empty stomach and at night 5 mts before we go to bed and walk for 5 mts to help for the bowel movement. If the problem is so severe ie. if the bowels are not cleared for 2 days, then take 2 teaspoons of kayam churna (a herbal powder available in the medical shop) with hot water while going to bed at night. In the morning, you will be eased.

I think that's bad. If you are constipated for a lot of years now, you have to see a doctor fast. So, tests would be given to find out what is causing your constipation. Home remedies: drink a lot of water (that's good), exrcise, eat vegetables, lessen eating food that can constipate you more.

Maybe all you need is food that is rich in fiber. Fiber is really good for digestion. It will gradually eliminates your constipation issue.

If you are having serious constipation problem, I recommend seeking for a medical attention so that you undergo some test to check what's causing it. Also, make it a habit to eat high fiber vegetables and fruits to help eliminate your body's waste product easily. Try exercising too and drink lots of water.

If its that bad you need to have a doctor check you out. Have you tried Prumes or Prume juice they work really. If you try this and it still doesn't help I would get to a doctor right away. Its very dangerous especially if you have been suffering for years with this problem. Good luck and good health to you.
