Use mobile phone for surfing net

Dear MyLotters, I did tried to use my mobile phone to surf net and it is not expensive to use this service in Malaysia. Currently, I am using Maxis prepaid service.Sometimes, I only surf net for less than 5 mins and it has taken up my mobile value for few ringgits,It is not worthy. Yesterday, I received a message from Maxis that we can registered for 1 hour internet service for only RM2,this package is more attractive and I did try it out. But when I try to login to MyLot, it shows the connection is slow and very soon,my 1 hour internet service is over too. Share with me whether do you online using your mobile phone? Is it expensive to use that service at your country?
