Did you really get lost while looking for the symbol. I feel the title was a little misleading - it should have been the The Lost Word! Even though i like the way Dan Brown describes about the scene, character, background, etc., but somehow i feel this book had nothing big to offer. Da Vinci Code made me think but most of the scenes and conclusions were predictable. I even heard many of my friends say that the book was a waste of time. Though i disagreed with them, i would say Dan is still in the Da Vinci (and his other books) hangover. He was repeating many theories on science and spirituality, pyramid, Kryptos, etc. I liked the book but i was expecting a little more after the Da Vinci success. Though i completely agree with the message Dan Brown conveyed, i think his next book should be a off beat. Good luck to him. What do you think about this novel - The Lost Symbol.

I kow Dan Brown by his book Da Vinci Code. I want to read that book badly. I also heard about his latest book 'The Lost Symbol', but I haven't read any reviews about the book. I have a friend who is a fan of Dan Brown. She give me latest updates about Dan Brown and his books. I will see if I can download an ebook for free.

Hi Kris! I quite liked the book. Even though, the experience is not as good as The Vinci Code, I cannot deny the intricate knowledge that's being lent out. Dan Brown has always been fascinating with the intermingling of fact and fiction and I think he managed that in this book as well. I think, the psyche of the readers work in different ways. That's the reason why some books are a hit and still not liked by many and viceversa. I appreciate your viewpoint. Did you like Angels and Demons? I am sure you have. But you know what I didn't quite! See, that's what I was talking about. Happy reading!
