Has anyone ever been to Guam or at least heard of it?

Guam is an unincorporated territory of the US. The people born on this small Pacific island are US citizens, but they can't vote for the President. But it plays a big role in the US armed forces, and it so has for over a century now.

I know about guam and that it is a US territory but i never knew until now that there are those issues. why can't thhey vote for a president? is this limited to people in guam or are there other states like it? People from Guam are Americans too right? so why don't they get the same priveledge that people from oter states are enjoying? thanks for the information.. I also wanna know what people's views on this.

I see. im sorry about that. i didn't know that there are actually such problems happening even in a first country like the US. i am in a depeloping country and those types of scenarios aren't unusual. the only difference is that everyone who is a legitimate citizen, of the right age and is a registered voter has the right to elect whoever he or she desires.

It's cool, but did you also know that residents of Washington, D.C. can;t even vote for a president, even that is where the president resides. It's funny, really it is. There are so many things in this world that doesn't make any sense at all, but it is all a part of life, i guess, but it can be changed, but it will take someone who has the guts to stand up to it along with millions backing you up. Perhaps some changes then can be made.

woah..that is even more surprising. am i the only person who does not know that? i think all people in the same motherland should have equal rights, just the same as all of us people who are born and have equal rights for us being all humans.
