global warming and climate change are literally today's hottest words. Most natural climate patterns have deviate from their usual patterns, causing disastrous consequences to the people. if global warming is the biggest threat to the human race today, would a global effort with strict planning and implementation, like communism, be the ideal answer?

I don't know how communism can solve climate change. Just look at countries now that are called communist countries, are they models in effecting change? I doubt. But if you mean political will power and dedication on the part of the leaders, it may help solve. One doesn't have to be a communist to be able to strictly implement solutions, it's just committment and strong political will. enjoy

communism is supposedly a global phenemenom, no one state or country who may espouse its ideals can be equated with communism. also, i don't think there is a country today that is really communist. i do agree with you that strong political will and dedication figures a lot in solving climate change. china circa mao zedong just crossed my mind in solving this particular problem. you cannot deny that despite china's excesses, its economy was boosted because of its strict economic planning and pro-people stance. why can't climate change be solved the same way? Bring the problem to the people and let them participate in solving it?also, i also think capitalism plays a huge part in global warming.
