I am gaining weight..., well, no one has forced me to eat more than I should, so, why I am complaining, right?!!! I read in my cousin's blog today about losing weight before Christmas... Oh, it suddenly hit me to do something to shed those extra pounds. Are you one of those who will always try to lose weight before every special occasion?? Well, sometimes, I do, but most of the time, I just don't care, but here I am still complaining... oh dear... So, what about you?? Please share. Thanks in advance! Side Note: This post is just my thoughts of the day and not meant to make fun of those who are having weight problems...

I will do that when I plan to wear something nice on certain up and coming occasion. If I have set my mind to wear a certain dress that I need to reduce my tummy, I will go on light diet, etc. Easy said than done, at the end...what ever will, be will be I really wish that I can loose 2 inches of my waistline so that I can wear my favourite jeans. What to do, Malaysia are full of delicious food wherever we are, whenever we want...'food paradise' especially those weight putting "char kueh teow'..LOL

Hi, Iriene! Oh no, I had 'char kueh teow' for the past few days, hubby fried them. Well, have to skip that dish for a while. You are right, we have so many delicacies that are mouth watering and quite tempting as well. Yes, it is easier said than done, but when the time comes and if I manage to cut the fattening food intake, then it will be better. If not, I will buy some clothes that can hide those 'not so pretty' figures. Just always remember to exercise and eat yogurt to balance our diet.

Hi, Irglara! There are times when I think that it is time for me to burn those extra fats, but in some ways each time there is special occasion, it will always motivate me and it's great because I can do something positive, and I can save some time to shop for the dress that look good on me! Even though I am not strict about it, but yes, I have also done this before and it's a good healthy feeling.

Hello fellow weight fighter! I have to say I never understood this habit of people to try to lose weight before christmas, I understand if you want to try slimming down before going on vacation during summer, granted swimsuits aren't the best way to hide the excess meat! but why before Christmas? Christmas is like the day we eat the most! at least it's like that for my family so better start on weight loss after! I've had some health trouble so I have to be careful with food all the time so I don't really bother with special events. I do think that I should lose weight before my friend's wedding in june but will probably start to worry only if I can't fit in the dress I bought for the occasion! Anyway, complaining is healthy so complain all you want! when I say healthy I mean that you feel much better after it's all out!

Hello there, Morriganesque! Sorry for the late response. You were right, complaining is healthy, but just don't complain too much without doing something about it, right?! ;-) Well, food is everywhere when there are parties or special occasion including wedding reception. So, I guess it's normal that some people want to look good especially on 'that' particular day for just a short time probably because of the attention or impression. Then, when it's eating time, they just eat all they want and worry about the weight later he he...
