I need help on learning vb .net

I want to learn vb .net. I have bit knowledge on programming language. I have learned c program basics. I have searched a lot in Internet. I have got vb for dummies. It is good but the problem is that i felt it is too basic for me.
I need a book or study material which describes the concepts shortly with some samples. Please help me to get the study material.

First study C++ it very necessary because in C++ you learn about classes encapsulation I mean OOps concept after that you go to W3schools.com this is best programming language learning website. It also provide some small task which help you.
