I smoke every now and then. Most people I know smoke newports, so I end up having them sometimes. I prefer marlboro though - its smoother and better overall imo. I've never gotten addicted to cigarettes. Ive heard from many people that have smoked for years and cant quit, but I dont seem to have this issue. Ive personally been able to smoke many cigarettes within a certain length of time, then not have any for months. Not only that but I never get any craving either. Whats your experience/opinions?

I do smoke once in a while. Usually when I am stressed and have lots of problems. I don't know what's the connection between them. But I felt relive every time I do that.

replying now cause i missed this comment earlier... yes, many people smoke as a stress relief. it becomes a habit because it provides a good feeling instantly. oftentimes people who quit smoking will fill in something else in its place, like overeating etc.

I have been smoking now for 40 years, I was about 13 when i started and back then the dangers were not known. and it is very hard to quit. and i will probably smoke for another 40 years.

Indeed, I've heard of people finding it almost impossible to quit. Im not trying to brag about not getting addicted either, its just my experience. It must vary by person. strangely enough, some of the first people to recognize the dangers of smoking were the nazi germans (im into history) but its true that the risks werent general knowledge until much later.
